Wannasign is a small sign shop at 4812 47 Avenue, Wetaskiwin, Alberta. This page explains how we handle information. It covers our website (wannasign.ca) and the private tools we use to run the shop, including our business email.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to do the job:

• Contact details you send us (name, email, phone, message) through the website, email, phone, or in person.

• Order details (what you want made, sizes, artwork, shipping address, and payment records from our usual payment methods).

• Business email sent to our shop mailboxes, including mail forwarded into wannasignbot@gmail.com.

We do not buy mailing lists. We do not scrape extra personal data from the public internet to build profiles of customers.

How we use it

We use this information to quote work, make signs and other products, ship orders, answer questions, and keep our own shop records. We also keep a searchable copy of our business email so we can find old orders and messages.

A private shop system called WannaSign Mail Automation reads our own Gmail account (wannasignbot@gmail.com) with read-only access. That is our mailbox, not yours. It stores message details (who it was from, the subject, the date, and the body) in our database so we can search them later. It does not send email on its own, and it does not read anyone else's Gmail.

Who we share it with

We share information only when it is needed to complete an order or run the shop, for example:

• Suppliers, if we need them to make or source part of a job.

• Couriers (FedEx, Purolator, UPS) when we ship a package.

• The companies that host our website, email, and shop database (for example Google for Gmail, and our database host).

We do not sell your information. We do not rent it. We do not use it for unrelated advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep order and email records as long as we need them for the job, for taxes, or to answer a later question about past work. If you want something deleted and we do not have a legal reason to keep it, ask and we will remove what we can.

Your choices

You can email info@wannasign.ca to ask what we have about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. If the request is about an order we still have to finish or a record we must keep for tax reasons, we will say so.

Security

Access to our business email and shop database is limited to people who need it to run Wannasign. Login keys for those systems are stored as private server secrets, not on the public website.

Children

Our services are for customers ordering signs and related products. We do not knowingly collect information from children for marketing.

Changes

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update this page and the date at the top.
